(Warning: Very Long read, please skip ahead if not interested, for personal read)
What I do?:
Artistic portion:
I love creating arts and drawings... both traditional and digital.
My coloring skills aren't really that good so.... let's just omit that > . > . . . ha ha~
I guess I'm alright with drawing digitally on mouse, though some strokes takes trial and error...
and drawing digital probably means that it will be editable if there are some mistakes.
I like drawing traditionally more though I do not draw often nowadays :c
Back in those early days of secondary and primary school, I started drawing comics which were being influenced by the things I used to love playing/watching. My 1st few comics were a Sonic 3 fandom whereby I just drew the gameplay and made it more 3D like.. Then, a chinese teacher introduced my class in primary school to "Xiao Xiao" stickman.. that was when I started drawing about Xiao Xiao as well... Nothing original, mostly down right copying and fantasizing of adventures... of.. a combat specialist.. stickman?.. hahas it was fun... After that Hellsing TV Series influenced my anime drawing style. And as I went on, I found a place on DeviantArt and thought "hey! this place is really cool!" There are so many passionate artists contributing to the site and I was inevitably joined with its community for that time because I was an active appreciator of certain types of art... but as time passed by I became more lazier and started to stop drawing often all together... until today as of now.
During Secondary school I started drawing more original comics, not totally but still it was a great change. The styles & genres were still under the influence of stick-figures & animes I watched. I probably had the most creativity during that period of time. Every time I look back at myself & the work I produced during that time, I wonder how I can get back to being myself when I was doing that...
With that, I'm sad to say that my artistic side has moved on to serve other forms of art.. less of static drawing.

Programming portion:
I'm learning to program as well, studying C++ and I find it really interesting and hard at the same time.
Somehow I had a lot of fun and satisfaction on making certain data structured programs and I had especially more fun with my last semester's Computer Graphic module. Having the opportunity to learn how to create, animate and interact with my own graphics seem really satisfying and fun. The possibilities are endless.
Perhaps I might write what I learnt in this blog as well...
in case I suddenly forgot everything one day... which is highly unlikely but I'll or he'll never know.
When I came out of secondary school, I always wanted to enter the animation course of my school,
but my results wasn't enough for it and so I ended up in a programming course. At 1st I was reluctant and really uncertain. However up till now, I'm happy to say I enjoyed the Programming course.
The pace of learning is really fast especially if you're new to many things and you KNOW what you want to learn. Through self-research, I read a lot of things I thought I should not have read at that time since we (our batch of students) were not taught about it and do not really understand fully or know the consequences of using what we found.

Animating portion:
The reason why I had always wanted to enter the animation course was because I started animating when I was in secondary or primary school... A really long time ago but I was even younger than. When my mind was filled with creativity and I was inspired by Xiao Xiao and other stick-figure animations as well.. I appreciate full-bodied animations done by ScootWhookos as well... I was really in to animating my own set of genres because of all the awesome online influences. I made a Flash animation of my favorite game, Counter Strike called "CS:One-Man Stand" in the year 2010 which took quite a number of months to create. It was probably my biggest successful animation that was released though the pace was too fast.
A drawbacks I have with animations are to have things move totally how you intend them to move..
Like some flash animators tend to get problems like: "How am I supposed to animate THIS?!" and the most noticeable weakness I have is probably the lack of timing management.
My process of making the animation is mostly in these sequences of dependencies:
Import Audio 1st, Imagine of scenario.. Then choose a good angle to view it all & animate it.
I do not feel the need to draw a storyboard, yet my ideas are all over the place.
Only after I learnt my mistake of being messy, I took more structural approaches for handling the objects I create & their tweens, inside scene folders. I started making "Scenes" as though they're the storyboard but with no standard perspective angle. I still just animate it all according with the flow of music.
I'm mostly self-taught on Flash Professional 8 & Adobe side as well,
had some experience with ActionScript 2.0 and a tiny bit from 3.0 ...
I have ceased animating as well since it is a really time consuming process but I'll look forward to it maybe somewhere in the distant future?... I have no idea..

Audio Creation portion:
I learnt about editing and manipulating audios while working with animations and having the desire to create my own music. A few audio tools I use are Audacity & LMMS(Linux Multimedia Music Studio). Although I can't say I excel a lot in the audio portion, I did feel that I have made some music that are quite alright for my beginner stages. I'm self-taught in this field as well.
Gaming portion
I love Counter Strike & I'm still a nerd about it. But I do not play well against good players. I started playing CS at 1st on the XBox. Then I moved to CSCZ where I discovered playable maps in the XBox CS were exclusively placed in the console version only. I learnt that CSCZ had a campaign game called "Deleted Scenes" where those console Maps were actually modified maps from the mission maps of Deleted Scenes. Then I moved from playing in the Internet tab to playing within the LAN tab with a community called Garena and stayed there for a few years playing CS 1.6 before they took CS down. I learnt about the many of the glitches/bugs/custom map gameplay/mods the game and its community have to offer during my stay there.
Another game I'm a nerd with is Minecraft. I started playing it when it was at Beta 1.3, Minecart boosting other minecarts was still there during that point of time. I have not really own Minecraft yet but I still do play it from time to time, maybe with my friends through Hamachi or accessible public servers.
Now of days, I have ceased playing much games as well..
I do not know for sure what caused me to be the way I am today.. I wouldn't say I lost the interest... I believe I'm being rather more lazy instead of expanding myself to the communities I used to interact with.. Maybe I should reconsider and reflect on this writing..
Oh gosh, I can't believe I had written so much...
Guess I had a "Writer portion" as well... in which I really do..
*Runs into wall and slams into it*
Should probably exercise more, my holidays are pretty mundane as of now;;
